Who Is The SDI Advanced Adventure Diver Course For?

This course is ideal for certified SDI Open Water Scuba Divers seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills, those desiring to progress in their dive training, and individuals keen on exploring an introduction to SDI Specialities.

What Will I Learn?

The SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course introduces you to deep diving and navigation diving skills. Additionally, they will gain fundamental insights into three other specialities of your choice, serving as an introduction to specific areas in diving.

The practical component encompasses a range of in-water skills, including the successful execution of skills outlined for the first dive of each of the three selected specialities and the core specialities of Deep Diver and Navigation Diver.

Participants will prepare equipment site familiarisation for the Deep Diver open water dive, descend to planned depths within safety limits, and adhere to planned dive parameters. It is crucial to note that divers aged between 10 and 15 must not exceed 21 meters/70 feet during these activities.

The Navigation open water dive involves establishing a reference point, planning the dive, entering the water from either shore or a boat, practising out-and-back techniques on the surface, and executing squares and triangles both on the surface and at the bottom. The dive concludes with a meticulous ascent to a safety stop, followed by proper exit and logging of the dive.
